The dates for the Paris Game/AI Conference 2011 are now official. We'll be returning to the CNAM on the 23rd and 24th of June, with a workshop taking place on the 22nd.
The theme for this year's main conference is Gameplay: Advanced. As game AI matures, its techniques are becoming more widely used across the whole spectrum of game development. Navigation meshes help assist player movement, procedural animation and smart controllers bring character avatars to life, and high-level logic helps control the gameplay to make sure everyone's having fun... Artificial Intelligence techniques now make this possible!
As for the Paris Game AI Workshop 2011, based on popular demand, it will focus exclusively on action/combat games and shooters! Expect to hear the leading game studios in Europe talk about their most recent titles to be published Q1 2011.
